Canine Arthritis Management (CAM) is back again in 2025 with our second global online veterinary event on chronic pain!

We do not plan to simply educate. We plan to ENGAGE, EDUCATE, ENABLE and EMPOWER every attendee to become competent advocates of chronic pain management.

Through innovative "buddying up" lecture delivery, where we host leaders in the field of pain management with their colleagues and friends, attendees will immerse themselves in knowledge sharing, discussion and a tight network of clinicians and therapists where the primary goal is welfare through excellent pain management.

This dynamic delivery style echoes the #OneTeam approach required to challenge chronic pain as a cause of suffering in our companion animals.

DAY 1

FRIDAY 25th April - Bitesize day

Let’s start with BiteSize Friday—and yes, it’s back! This is a day dedicated to levelling the playing field and giving SEOs, small businesses, schools, and individuals the chance to share bite-sized, easily digestible knowledge with all the delegates. Think of it like a mini buffet of learning—packed with everything from hydrotherapy and behaviour management to laser therapy, sleep, exercise, and hospice care. Each session lasts just 15 minutes, making it a jam-packed, no-fluff learning experience. Perfect for those who want to get straight to the point.

DAY 2

SATURDAY 26th April - The Journey of OA: Exploring Osteoarthritis in Practice

On Saturday, we take a deep dive into one of the most common and frustrating conditions we face—Osteoarthritis (OA). We’ve designed a day focused on the ins and outs of OA management in first-opinion practice. Through a chronological series of lectures, we’ll move from puppy and juvenile identification and diagnosis, all the way through the tricky journey of young adult management, and explore the challenges of things like adverse events, acute flares, miscommunication, and of course, the lack of improvement that often leads us to feel stuck.

We’ll round off the day with a heartfelt session on hospice and end-of-life care, because sadly, that’s an all-too-common conclusion to the OA journey.

Days 3 and 4

SUNDAY 27th and MONDAY 28th April

Then we move on to Sunday and Monday, which promise to be absolutely packed with over 22 hours of expert-led sessions designed to equip attendees with practical knowledge, advice, and resources to manage the diverse array of chronic pain conditions we see in practice.

What time does the Symposium start each day?

We start bang on 8am each day. The morning will start with a welcome and intro from Hannah Capon, CAM Founder and our host for the event. We will be hot on timekeeping so no early starts or late finishes!

Will I be able to watch any lectures that I have missed?

Yes! We will make an On Demand version of each session available around 2 hours after each one has ended. That On Demand recording will then be available for around 24 hours, so that people in any timezone have a chance to watch the full event. Once the 24 hours have expired, the videos will only be available to our VIP ticket holders who will have access to all the recordings for a full 12 months.

I am a VIP ticket holder, how soon after the event has ended can I start watching the recordings?

We aim to have all the videos edited and translated into other languages within 1 week of the end of the CPS. Access to the recordings will be via our online education platform. We will send the access details for this platform once the videos have been uploaded.

Are there any breaks?

Yes! Each session will be 55 mins long, meaning that we have planned a 5 min break between each session. This is an ideal opportunity for you to put the kettle on, use the loo, or do anything else you need to get ready for the next lecture. There is also a 30 min break for lunch, plus two 15 min breaks throughout the day.

Can I watch the CPS25 from anywhere in the world?

We have done our best to make the education in this event as accessible as possible. As this is an online event, if you have a computer and the internet, you can watch from *most* countries. Sadly there are a few countries that are unable to access the event live, but the recordings are available to them via our VIP ticket. The countries affected are: North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Indonesia, Sudan, Syria, Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, Luhansk People’s Republic, Russia.

What timezone is the live event streamed in?

All times discussed on the schedule above are UTC. Please make sure to adjust those times according to your local timezone. On Demand recordings of each session will be available for 24 hours so that all timezones can watch the full event.

What browser do I need to use to watch the CPS?

In order for you to have full access to all the features on the platform you will need to run it in one of the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge (Chromium), Safari

How can I get help if I have trouble logging in, or experience technical issues during the event?
